My father, E. King Stodola, was eager to mark the 50 year anniversary of Project Diana in 1996. Sadly, he did not live to see this milestone. This website, created in the centennial year of his birth, is an attempt to carry out his desire to commemorate what he regarded as his greatest accomplishment, and to honor the extraordinary team effort that made it possible for a small group of men to achieve such a large goal.

The photos above, of me with my earliest playmate David Mofenson, son of my father's Evans Lab colleague Jack Mofenson and his wife Ruth, were posted when I first started working on this site in 2014. In August of 2015, David, a lawyer loved and admired by all who knew him, died suddenly and unexpectedly in the Boston suburb where he resided. David was very supportive of my desire to create this website and generous in sharing his memories and photos. With gratitude for his collaboration and sorrow that he cannot continue to participate in this effort, I dedicate this website to his memory.

Thank you for visiting this site. Comments, additions, and corrections are welcome.
